hello!

being the sua kus that we are, yesterday shan chun and myself decided to go on an adventure - walk from city hall mrt to plaza sing. haha! we live in the east, not v familiar with the roads in the city. haha! noobs right. anw, we thought that we were lost and got on a bus only to find out that we were actually this close to ps. anyway, we didn't wanna reach ps too early and had time to kill.

on a side note, i think the citi computers have disallowed me to tag on the board. haha. anw, workin hours have been reduced to a shitty 8 hours, down from 9. it's NOT not much of a difference cos only one person will be required to work on sat for a measly four freakin hours. that sucks! =/ someone get me a job transfer that pays as good as this. haha.

well, this is a temporary measure cos i cannot tag. you better be reading this! to hj: go supper somemore later FAT. muhahahaha.

Just received a direct call to my handphone by Ren, regarding the uploading of the OSDs. Not totally my fault though. I suspect that one part of the folder has not been uploaded because there has been numerous complaints about OSDs being sent out on the 16th of jan. Darn, he sounded quite pissed la. z.

Shan't blog for too long cos my sup is behind me. haha. This is not an ideal position to slack off, sians! Waiting for the next batch of work to arrive.

Office @ 5.17pm. Omg, surprise surprise. Guess who's here for the CPO (Citiphone officer) job? Another 2 MJCians - Amelia and Vanessa! haha. I was just as stunned as them la. Ha, i got scolded for talkin to them for too long and the stupid thing was that i wasn't scolded by my OWN sup. Their sup started making sarcastic comments like "Hey young lady, you wanna join CPO?" lol. should have said yes and piss her off. heh.

Again, another mj squasher walked in, peimun. in fact. she's my neighbour! hahaha. Is this like a surprise gathering? cos 4 squashers have gathered here on the same building, same floor. ha.

hey guys!

been at a chalet last night so today damn tired. Cos i couldn't skip my advanced theory lessons which were in my opinion a waste of my precious time. z. Could have gained more sleep instead of secretly trying to doze off when the instructor wasn't looking..

had loads of fun through the night and even before the night started. started off the day with blading with sc to the other side of the coast. haha. it was drizzling so we had to put up with the drops of water splattering all over our faces. haha. after that had a series of night cycling, to the jetty where it was total tranquility. i thought that it was v cold la, wonder how some ppl can stand fishing there in only singlet and shorts! =/ after that we played stuff like indian poker and some childish, lamish games that kept us laughing and drinking. Sounds dumb right? But time passed v quickly.

anw, a big thank you to reuben, marissa and gy for being there to accompany me through the fun-filled night. poor gy had to cycle and keep up with our speed (cos it wasn't safe for us girls to be cycling alone) even though he was so drained from street soccer the day before. plus he sprained his ankle! haha. and reuben for keeping me company till i fell asleep before the big commotion came about in the room and for the sunrise though he was totally on the verge of going SEH! he tried his best to stay sober till after we walked back to the chalet then he couldn't stand it and puked.

well, i made new friends, or should i say a new friend. heh. Thinking back, it was pretty ironic how I first got to know this person. Maybe it was God-sent. Haha. Feeling a bit numb now.

it was overall, a great day. :)
Somehow, I feel an affinity with this song. =D Love it lots.

Three cheers to the creators of Sudoku! Haha, it's so thrilling to beat the game and see a completed puzzle after minutes of thinking. =D Life has become better at work. Oh ya, going to the arcade has already become a daily affair with my group of collegues (sounds weird calling schoolmates collegues now but.. ah well. we have entered the corporate world and thus have to use such terms!) The game Mariocart is recommended! =p

Since we usually spend more than the time given for our dinner break at the arcade, sc and myself buys back dinner to munch in the office. Haha! Got skill one okay, must make it seem as though we aren't stretching our breaks when we actually are!

I'm gonna have to work alone tmr from 1-5pm due to a change in schedule cos the volume of work has fallen to an all-time-low with us having ALOT of time to cut ALOT of slack. So on public hols and sats only one of us will be required to come into office to clear some ques in kana mail. haha. I still cannot figure out why my kana id and pass is invalid. =/ These office stuffs are giving me alot of problems recently.

I've reached the epitome of boredom - My user id for UWS, GRB and Cardpac was revoked, meaning that I keyyed in the wrong password or id 3 times. I only keyyed it wrongly ONCE.. i think. No, make that i'm pretty sure. Now my sup (the more kan chiong one) is fuming mad at the fact that I cannot help her close the eccms for today, or rather for a few days. Cos the id stuffs usually takes damn long to arrive. She accused me wrongly for being too careless and blur as I didn't (stupidly) go key in the wrong pass more than once. Anyways. Manual labour, here I come.

It was bad doing OTP updates in the past, but now it's worse not even having anything for me to do in order to kill time. Slacking at the terminal, doing Sudoku (3 star difficulty, yesterday i solved a one star puzzle in 15 minutes! while sc was struggling, he didn't solve it in the end. haha.) is making me feel a whole lot of guilt.

Office @ 4.25pm. Yes! My id is back! =) And my sup gave me new stuff to do. *wide grin.

Anyway, I came to work late today cos i was hanging around orchard area during the mid afternoons. Supposed to do some shopping but ended up with only enough time to have lunch and gobble down some ice-cream. Initially i arranged to be at work at about 2 plus at most 3 but then by the time i reached pasir ris mrt, it was 2.30. LOL! So i met up with Angeline who was at the Whitesands library to collect some stuff from her and at the same time take the train down.

Then I thought again, work damn sian!! So i took last minute leave from the office (for 3 hours ONLY. =x) and got reprimanded and was told to inform them earlier. My sincerest apologies la!! =/ Anw, don't have much work to do at office until 5+ 6+? z.

Boy was i surprised to see the streets in orchard this empty, all the way from wisma to cine.! Well, it's been forever since i last breathed in the air over there so it felt pretty good. There was this dance competition at heeren and the fight was between 2 pathetic groups which consisted of 2 people in each. haha! hilarious. I think both teams were noobs at dancing and had dance instructors to groom them for 3 days and teach them dance moves which were judged for the competition. With regards to their performance all i can say is.. nice try la. =D

Yeah, we're having some fun at the office, more ktv sessions to come.
Wonder how the guys are doing at the stressful new office environment. =p

SICK OF OTP UPDATES! z.

I tried appealling to my sups about a change of job responsibilities and they explained to me that it'll be more economical for us to stick to what we're doing, for the sake of reapin economies of scale. Like whoa, it's been ages since I've heard of such chim language. haha. Well, carry on like this and i think diseconomies of scale is gonna set in soon. Going cross eyed already la. Sian..

Office @ 7.20. Eatin dinner out is totally outta the question. The rest of the gang thought that i'm went off for my advanced theory lessons when i kinda told one of them (while the rest were there) that the lesson's off today. =/ Like, were they even listening? No apparently not la. Okay, I'm soundin like a bitch. But it's difficult to bottle up the feelings inside of me, I was left behind to do night shift until 12 midnight ALONE! Thanks. Crap, this loneliness shit is bugging me more than ever before. I'm gonna cry and get all emo in the office. lol.

Whoa. This is damn cool la. I didn't know that I could actually blog from the office computer. At least the computers over at my own department had restrictions over the blogger.com website. The department here a.k.a. SMRT visa whatever department has almost full access to websites, including this!

Well, I feel pretty detached from the original group of people i came to work with, the 3 of them cos now i'm doing night shift. The other guy doing night shift with me often gets updated on many events cos he's closer to one of my friends who i recommended to work here, recommended him to work here. (sounds complicated rite. ha!) Basically, he's close to her la thus knowing about alot of stuffs going on around here.

In the office I'm now talkin to Danielle, a JJC girl i met while moving around the office lookin for a vacant terminal to use. She's a great person to converse with and I'm so glad she's quite a devote christian. haha. =p

The one thing that I regret is not having a really super duper close bunch of friends to hang out with. I see people going over to so-and-sos house for sleepovers, bbqs and parties. I don't deny that I have a bunch of friends but when the need arises for a heart to heart talk, I got no idea who to look for. =/

Slacking at work used to be so fun, now it's sheer boredom.

I feel quite broke. What a way to start an entry. It's not that I'm actually broke la. Been workin night shift the past 2 weeks and have been paying high midnight charges for cab fares every night. I've lost count of my spending because it has become more tedious to calculate my spending as i pay through nets for lots of stuff and i usually forget about it.

I'm so sorry guys, can't think of any damn thing to blog about since I rush from one place, home to another place, office. As you all can tell from the number of hours I'm online, I don't sleep very much so I don't take notice of the happenings around me while travelling to work. Usually in a daze or plain stoning into thin air. Update me on any shops with good bargains or sales. Just heard from shan chun that U.R.S. (he accidentally said UWS! as in eccms uws. haha! Citibank joke.) is having some sale. Cool, he actually knows about these things. :)

I never knew that I could make so many friends by just taking on a temp job at Citibank. In fact, at the start I took on the job mainly for money, (well it still is) but at least there are things to look forward to. This may possibily be a major turning point in my life. I've learnt and experienced much, (and more learning to come. haha!) I feel as though I've grown up quite a bit in the short span of 2 months. From improving my character and personality to.. the feeling of being EIGHTEEN. Being cooped in MJC for the past 2 years has really caused me to miss out on many things in life. Help! I'm feeling all emo and stuff. This is definitely not a good sign...

hello all! notice the weird timings? i always blog in the middle of the night. turning into a night owl soon. woot woot~ haha.

this week is the last week i'm gonna be working (should i say together?) with the ISO peeps at citiphone. you guys take care yeah, cos the place they're movin to quite isolated so.. good luck y'all! as for me, i'll be stuck at good old (accessible. haha!) millenia tower with the rest of the ccsu peeps. time passes much faster with work. it feels good knowing that you're earning money for yourself to spend instead of depending on parents. ahha..

life's all about work for now.

argh! i'm so pissed with the rediculously big pimple on my face!! zz. no face alr la. and it just had to pop out during these few days! z.

anyways, i just came back from supper again, with the group of citiphoners. it's the old bunch plus minus some peeps. haha. the stories that they shared with us when they were in m'sia were hilarious. too bad this might be the last time that we'll be having supper together. now too tired to think of what to blog but this week has been the most tiring yet happiest week of my working life. though the hours suck pretty bad but the company of citiphoners make work less boring. but i think with them around i become less efficient cos there are definitely more distractions around. bridge, daidee. ahem. haha.. super tired. gotta sleep alr. nites.!

hey all!!

just came back from supper at simpang bedok with the temps from citi namely gracelyn, jac, vik, jerome and hj. it took us quite a while to decide on a place since we live all around the island. finally, the majority of us voted simpang bedok so we took a cab down. the place was totally leaking! haha.. those temps who are stayin in the west and central weren't very impressed with the whole layout cos water was drippin from everywhere. lol! but anw, it was damn fun and we had lots of laughter, especially with gracelyn and vik. =D i'll miss them loads when they shift over to jurong!!! dun goooo.. haha. anw i think i'm the most innocent and naive out of all of them. lol.

work has been pretty slack these few days. now that i'm on the night shift, it's really fun workin together with the citiphone peeps cos they'll be there whenever i wanna play daidee or bridge. hais. without them night shift will be darn sian. :(
tmr's gonna be the last day that i'll be doin night shift with them (the full 8 hour one) before they start the 4 hr shift den off to jurong. hais. this is so depressing. =/

hey all!

well, not many updates since my life is merely a routine of very monotonous stuffs. wake up in the morn go work at 9 den 1 hr of lunch at either marina or suntec (not much variety. not v cheap either.) released from work at 7 or 8 plus (which usually isn't the case, i usually ot till 9 to 10) den just chiong home and SLEEP. yeaps, super tiring. and to top that off, from next week onwards i'll be workin the shift from 2pm to 12 midnight. I dun think that i'll have the energy to crawl out of the bed for breakfast. I'll most probably go for branch. heh..

Furthermore, my domestic helper has terminated her contract early so that means that I'll have to help out with housework and our 3 meals will become a problem. cos no one in the family can cook a decent meal. =/ Takeaways aren't exactly v healthy.

I passed basic theory today in 7 mins! First one out of the classroom. =) So now i'm one step closer to obtaining a driver's licence. haha..
